However, the torque capacity of a U joint is not significantly affected by misalignment angle. This is because the bearing life is not affected by misalignment angle and does not depend on the misalignment angle.

Another problem with u joints is that they don’t always achieve the expected fatigue life. This can be due to poor lubrication or improper sealing.
